LP Women’s Ministry "Be Transformed" Stories

The "be transformed" stories come to us from women involved in all five of our campuses. These stories will motivate you and to serve as a reminder that every one of us encounters challenges along our journey to becoming the woman God intends us to be. You can be transformed and victorious! Share your story and help other women who need encouragement.

To the ladies who have participated so far, thank you for having the courage to be real, be transparent and to share your journey.

The "be transformed" stories you’re about to read are truly powerful.

Lacene Stussi's Story

Lacene Stussi's Story
My name is Lacene Stussi, and this is my story:

FEAR: While viewing The Green Lantern last night, a graphic novel I never read, I was surprised to observe a powerful spiritual parallel. The enemy was depicted as fear which destroys the soul. The Green Lantern battled Fear utilizing his will. His mentor instructs him to develop his power by visualizing himself conquering the enemy. His training included the mantra, “You have the power to do anything you can imagine.”

Julie Bennett's Story

Julie Bennett's Story
My name is Julie Bennett, and this is my story:

17 weeks pregnant with my second child, I spent the day on an airplane traveling to Boca Raton. That evening, I began having back pains that did not get better. The pain was nothing like I had ever felt. We decided to go to the emergency room, where they did a sonogram to check for kidney stones and to check on my baby. I saw my child for the first time. She flexed her little toes and put her hand in her mouth—precious.
